The Hanson project was a second-storey addition to create additional space for the client’s growing family in the city’s East Toronto, Monarch Park area. The project included the addition of two new large rooms, a master bedroom, and a living room. It also featured the creation of stunning cathedral ceilings and custom 8-foot sliding doors. Second-storey renovations are always more complex because of the roof systems, the need to re-work the plumbing, AC/heating pump, and the addition of new stairs.

Our team was focused on getting the work done with a wholistic view of how the new addition would work with the existing home structure. We were also focused on getting the work done quickly so the family could return to their normal lives and begin to enjoy their new space.
